The Shipping Update

Hey everyone, the beacons are here.

DHL dropped off 11 large cartons of tightly packed XY beacons at our distribution facility late Thursday.  It felt almost anticlimactic after the months of delays and setbacks we've had: one minute it read "With delivery courier", the next it was simply "Delivered".

We drove up this morning to personally inspect the beacons -- they looked good and the random tributes we tested worked well.  Here's a shot of our Director of Sales, Harry Reninger being happy for a change.

What happens now?

• Saturday, October 18 - BackerKit Lockdown
  After lockdown, backers will not be able to make any further changes to shipping address or reward selections.
  
• Monday, October 20 - Payment Processing / Shipping Addresses
  For those with add-ons (t-shirts, extra XY beacons, etc.) credit cards will be charged.  Shipping Addresses will be exported and verified, start preparing packing labels.
• Tuesday, October 21 - Distribution Starts
  We anticipate initial fulfillment / shipping to all our backers will take two to three weeks to complete.  Thank you for your patience.
